VARIOUS ARTISTS "Gog Rock" (Catalogue no. GRMC001, 1995) Gog Rock is a 15-track compilation album of unsigned young bands from the Gwynedd area of North Wales. The music ranges in styles from pop and rock to dance, while the recordings range from 4- and 8-track demos to professional recordings to sessions recorded specially for the BBC.

The project invested money in music that was considered uncommercial by mainstream record labels, and captures the essence of the Welsh underground in the mid-1990s. It also helped many young and new bands to gain media attention and radio airplay both locally and nationally - both important parts of establishing a reputation in the Welsh music industry.
